WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 26 -- Sunday

 Hello on Sunday!  What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

Sunday Discussion:  It's a new writing week, and the last week of the current month.  How are you doing so far with meeting writing goals for the month?

I am currently in "thinking about my fic once or twice" mode but I am ready for that thinking to turn in actual words any time now! I have not met my goal of a new chapter this month, so I better get my act together soon!

I haven't got round to writing yet today (it's almost midday, despite the fact that the clocks changed this morning and I have been going round putting them all back by an extra hour) and am not currently in line to do so. Also, I really need to get my sleeping schedule sorted out, because it is now becoming routine to go to bed at 4 or 5am every night -- which is tolerable on days when I can afford to sleep until eleven or twelve, but onerous when I need to get up at 9am the next morning.

I have written probably half the story I aimed to write at the start of this month, which is better than nothing, but it seems very unlikely that I shall finish the main draft by the end of next week, let alone the end of the month on Friday :-(

I did however finally reach the first actual 'planned' bit of exposition/plot for this chapter yesterday -- upon which things suddenly went much faster than the previous day! -- which leaves me with one more major conversation to include, the set-up required for that to happen (i.e. the character in question needs to arrive and be introduced first!), and possibly a bit more background exposition/activity in order to fill in the intervening hours and correspond with the canon events at this point. Falling into a brook may be involved :-) (Although probably just *talking* about past falling-in...)

Yesterday, I got a few lyrical version videos done that's around the lore of the cosmic horror characters that have been my main Suno personas. Ms. Black Guardian is a very large monster. She has these four long arms... When I was editing in all the lyrics to her first song in the video, I made sure to have them slide from the left or right, and then back. Also, the two times the chorus lines were pulled up or down. Towards the end, I used the opacity effect for her outro verse.

As I was putting this video together, I imagined her using those arms of hers to pull, push, and summon the words in the video! Link to the video. I'll leave it there for anyone who would like to view it. I've been feeling great about it.

This very large girl beast is one of the two dark divas in the Team Insanity group. The narrative track about the underground city of Ehn'gha is also up on that channel.

Right now, I have been taking a little break from Team Insanity to remaster some older songs I have done about three cats that I love so much. Too cute for words, they are! I've been mind-blown on how my second one about the young tortie, Xena, has turned out. Baby Xena On the Move (Remastered) A really awesome extended bridge is what makes this way better than the original!
