Howdy, Y'all! Happy Monday!

How is the writing going today?

~ Fantastic!
~ Pretty dog-gone good.
~ Not too bad.
~ Pretty slow.
~ It's like pulling teeth...grrr...
~ The muse has absconded with my words!

Discussion topic...do you print off or copy/paste/save to your PC your favorite pieces of fan fiction so as to have them forever?

Its going great. I did a lot of writing during breaks and re-read some stuff from last week that I'm quite pleased with - 750w crammed it all into a single run on paragragh, which accidently made a 'stream of conciousness effect'. I don't know if I'll fix it or leave it like that.

I haven't saved any fic by others for ages. But there was once when I'd done it I was very glad because a week later the site went offline and everything there was lost.

When I really like them though, I don't just download them, I dissect them to see how they work!

Wrote more stuff for my eastasianfandomgiftbag hopefully-present. I think I may be getting somewhere! \o/

I do save fics I like, but I need to be better about doing that just in case... ^^;;;;

Getting any writing done on a work day is nearly impossible for me, but I'll try to squeeze in fifteen minutes worth.

I don't read much anymore, but when I find something I like, yes, I'll save it.

Writing? What's that? I have no memory of such a thing....

Maybe if could just get a few more RL things finished and out of my hair, I might be able to get somewhere with writing. For now, though, it's just me trying to keep up with life and there's no time for anything else, alas!

I do indeed save my favorite fanfic pieces to my PC, and I actually reread them, too. I love AO3 because it allows for downloading in various formats. Other archives I frequent allow for the same thing. If not, there's always copy and paste!

Not too bad. I wrote about 280 words today, including a slight revision of a previous scene. Not only that, I read over all of the re-writes I did yesterday, and one of them seems slightly less hopeless than the others, so I think I may be able to salvage some of it.

And yes, I do save my favorite fics. Come to think of it, I haven't been as diligent about it recently. I should probably work on that.

Got around a little over 400 words of my help_japan fic and finished writing off the action scene I had put off for a while. Not too happy with it yet, but I can always look over it later.

There are a few fics I had saved in a doc so that I could keep reading them again and again without trying to find it. There are also lots of times I would save fic that I would read later, some of which I need to get doing that. D:

Urgh, no writing at all for the last couple of days. It just keeps getting pushed to the end of my list and by the time I have time to get to it, I'm just knackered. So today I'm making a concerted effort to get some in first.

Got around 500 words done after I set myself a deadline to send them to a friend before they go to sleep. It worked \o/

I did better than that, actually, I wrote for half an hour and finished a ficlet, although my wrist was pretty sore afterwards (stupid arthritis.) It felt good to actually finish two fics on consecutive days, though.
