Howdy, Y'all! Happy Monday!
How is the writing going today?
~ Fantastic!
~ Pretty dog-gone good.
~ Not too bad.
~ Pretty slow.
~ It's like pulling teeth...grrr...
~ The muse has absconded with my words!
Discussion topic...do you print off or copy/paste/save to your PC your favorite pieces of fan fiction so as to have them forever?

Date: Monday, December 12th, 2011 22:13 (UTC)I haven't saved any fic by others for ages. But there was once when I'd done it I was very glad because a week later the site went offline and everything there was lost.
When I really like them though, I don't just download them, I dissect them to see how they work!

Date: Tuesday, December 13th, 2011 01:07 (UTC)Maybe if could just get a few more RL things finished and out of my hair, I might be able to get somewhere with writing. For now, though, it's just me trying to keep up with life and there's no time for anything else, alas!
I do indeed save my favorite fanfic pieces to my PC, and I actually reread them, too. I love AO3 because it allows for downloading in various formats. Other archives I frequent allow for the same thing. If not, there's always copy and paste!

Date: Tuesday, December 13th, 2011 07:15 (UTC)There are a few fics I had saved in a doc so that I could keep reading them again and again without trying to find it. There are also lots of times I would save fic that I would read later, some of which I need to get doing that. D:
