WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 28 -- Sunday

 Hello on Sunday! What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

 

       - I thought about my fic once or twice

       - I wrote

       - I did some planning and/or outlining

       - I did research and/or canon review

       - I edited

       - I've sent my fic off to my beta

       - I posted today!

       - I'm taking a break

       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

 

Sunday Discussion:  It's a new writing week, and the last week of the current month (and the current year!).  How are you doing so far with meeting writing goals for the month?

Goals have not been met, so I either need to make new ones or do better at managing my time in order to accomplish them. I think about my WIP every day, but that's about it at this point. Perhaps now that the holidays are mostly past, I can focus on my writing better!

I posted! Or at least uploaded my Chapter 2 to my own journal, whence it will proceed to AO3 in due course.

I was hoping Chapter 1 might stagger into double digits as far as viewing figures were concerned, but I'm afraid that's what posting incredibly obscure crossover fic will get you; I have spent three months writing a story that not-quite-literally nobody else wants to read...

I finished a chapter and am about to embark on the next. T minus ~7 to go until the end of the work! Plus editing I suppose, but I'm not counting that in my goals until I get the draft part done. I'm hoping to spend as much of the next week as possible working on writing, but we'll see how much life gets in the way.
