WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 11 -- Sunday

Hello on Sunday! What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

       - I posted today!
       - I'm taking a break
       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Sunday Discussion:  It's a new writing week, how are you doing so far with meeting writing goals for the month?

I am not doing great at meeting writing goals, though I have at least set some! Life has thrown a few wrenches into the works, so I am working through that at the moment. I should be able to focus on fun things like my WIP very soon, though!

I've been editing -- or at least reviewing the edits that I made when I typed up my current chapter, sufficient time having elapsed that I didn't remember making them until I checked through for transcription errors!
I appear to have made an unusually large number of changes to this chapter, but they all look like good ones, so back into the manuscript they go :-)
Time for a final proofread before probably posting tomorrow.

I don't think I had a writing goal for the month (knitting goals were another matter, with two overdue Christmas presents to deal with!)
The one-shot I posted was so very much more successful than anything else I have attempted writing for this fandom that I am vaguely reviving thoughts of another one-shot in the same version of canon that I had in mind at the start of last year (before eventually writing similar material in a completely different setting, where it attracted only spam)...

I wrote today! I got 4 words down on a fic that's just a "for fun" kind of thing, but that's nice. I've written on and off this week, but I always seem to forget to check in here when I do, and then also miss the discussion questions ;__; but I'm hoping to actually track here this week.

Monthly goals are off to a good start. For GYWO, I need to write 10 days this month, and so far I'm at day 6. I got the OK on my zine fic outline/start, so now I can really start working on it without worrying I'll have to switch to something else instead.
