Date: Saturday, February 28th, 2026 23:26 (UTC)Also, I'm making an invitation/request for a bit more/different help than the usual: I've written all but the last act of a screenplay for a pilot episode of a 90's-era KNIGHT RIDER, but it's been stuck long enough for me to know this is less a motivation problem and more structural/story related. I need a proper action beat to drive the last act and set the hook for the hypothetical next episode/rest of the season (none of which I have planned, this is strictly a pilot exercise). So I could use help if you're the sort of nerd who loves thinking about story structure, both in general and in the traditional TV format of "prologue and 4 acts". Bonus points if you like the original KNIGHT RIDER and/or if you're sick of genocidal robots and want to see more stories about machines like Bishop in ALIENS that genuinely like humans. Yes I'm a PORTAL/TERMINATOR author and have zero problem with this level of irony, I contain multitudes, the heart wants what the heart wants, foolish consistency blah blah blah
