Hello on Thursday! How's the day going so far for fic? (If you haven't gotten started on your day as yet, how did yesterday go for writing fic?)

I'm getting a slow start to the day but yesterday was somewhat productive -- I got 300 some words written on my WIP chapter before a debilitating headache struck! I am hoping to get back into it today, spending at least an hour on writing.

My five words: Hopefully an hour is enough!

Mostly I'm pleased that I finally posted my short PREDATOR story (what happened after they got to the chopper), but the latest news from Buffy and Firefly inspired me to enter the genre of RPF for a second time with Back To the Black (Buffy RPF/Firefly RPF). So we may be nearly a quarter done with the year (oh how time flies as we age), but at least I've managed to post two shorts. Now if I can just get something done on that Portal/Terminator crossover that I started with very little idea where it was going. Or any of the other WIPs that have been sitting in the WIP directory for literal years...

But nothing yet today. In five words: We never have enough time.

I went back to an old, abandoned one-shot and wrote a new outline for it. Now it makes more sense and it's less meandering, which makes it more fun to work on.

But I'm supposed to finish the last chapter of a different WIP first. That one is a slog right now, but having some YouTube writing sprints playing in the background is usually enough to get me to work on it a bit (almost) every day.
