Discussion topic: Your characters are hungry what do they have to eat? something quick say cereal and milk, something unhealthy from the take-away, or do they make something from scratch? Anything else?

I got a fair bit of editing done in this morning's writing session (& I even had company for a while! :D ). I'm really close to being able to post another ficlet, & with some work I might be getting there w/another fic. I'm just... scared of the latter fic, because I have to make decisions about names & celebrities & idol bands & cafes & this all sounds superficial but it's v. important in the fic, really. ;)

Natsume Takashi from Natsume Yuujinchou would eat whatever anyone gave him, because he wouldn't want to trouble anyone, & if there wasn't anything around he wouldn't ask. His buddy Tanuma would probably make something a little complicated, just because in my futurefic headcanon he works in a restaurant (& it makes sense in canon for him to be able to cook since his dad goes off on business a lot & there isn't anyone else). Taki would just grab whatever she could take into the library w/her: a sandwich, probably.

RL was far more interesting than fic today. I had Christmas dinner with family and I'm out of my usual environment. I got dragged away from the writing session as I half expected but finished the 750w. What I wrote today was closer to journalling than anything else Ive done there for a while. Too soon to know whether I can use it.

Food in fic. Well apart from the one time with the cake fic, I think there was instance of miso soup and rice and another of take-out noodles. I want to write a food fight scene though.

I doubt there will be any fic writing today. Just relaxing after a quick trip, but I didn't good sleep last night, so I'm pretty knackered.

There will just be movie watching and dinner and maybe some reading, and then early to bed.

Discussion topic...my characters eat what they need to eat, whether it be at a restaurant or a home-cooked meal--whatever fits the situation for the particular characters.
