For those of you doing the challenge, how's it going? Like I said last time, for many people this time of year comes with a lot of family, school, or work obligations -- are you managing to fit fic writing time in? Are you hearing from your buddies?

I have absolutely fallen down on both working on fic & keeping up with my buddies this week. ;_; Apologies, buddy group!!

On the one hand, my YT fic is already done & posted, which is a relief. On the other, I need to get moving on my other challenge fic for this month again! I feel like all my momentum is slipping away!

What about you?

Er. I haven't been quite sure what I'm supposed to do as far as keeping in touch with people; as to writing, I still have two papers to finish and turn in, but after that I suspect things may get a lot more interesting. My four guys on the run are still developing new backstory and discovering my worldbuilding almost as fast as I can create it...

I'm pretty much a disaster, though I posted the yule fic. I want to write, but family stuff and OTW stuff that I've to take care of keeps coming up. :/

I suspect I may have a little more time next week. I hope.

It's kinda hard to keep up with the group! We could start a e-mail with all of us in it?

I've fallen behind with keeping up with my buddy group too, but I'll try to change that once my Yuletide-fic is finished. The Yuletide-writing is going slowly, but it's going and hopefully it will flow smoother soon now that antibiotics aren't messing with my head anymore.

I have just finished a draft of a new story that is not my WIP. Writing on my WIP is still agonizingly slow.

On the other hand, it does seem good for inspiring me to work on other fics . . .

Just finished line-editing Chapter Two! There's still one scene in it that needs rewriting, but I now basically have the rest of the month to rewrite Chapter Three and neaten up Chapter Four.

Better still, when I reread Ch3 earlier this week it turned out that it's not quite as blindingly awful as I remember. Parts of it even made me laugh (and yes, they were supposed to). It's got so little structural integrity that a light breeze could whistle the national anthem through its plotholes, but I should be able to salvage the prose.
