I propose that we set up a semi-permanent chat room for this community. In practice it would work like this: people would log in, and if someone's there, someone's there. There would be no official staffing.

However, I think that if people knew that there was an option to chat outside formally arranged writing sessions, eventually the chat room could become a place where there would be a high possibility of encountering someone. It would require that people remember to log in to it when they are online, though.

Since we're talking about a chatroom that isn't specifically for writing sessions, I think having "sessions" in the name would be suboptimal. (It looks like most people are voting like me anyway, but I thought I'd mention it.)

I have no attachment to the room name! Whoever did the v. first session (I don't think they're actually active in the comm anymore) just came up w/it, but there's no reason it has to stay. :D
