Discussion question: Do you beta? If you do, how much do you usually do? Just spelling & grammar, or watching out for character & plot inconsistencies, or more? And if you don't, any particular reason?

VACATION!!!!! OMG, I need one so bad. D: Enjoy yours!

I don't want to take on any fine comb projects until after my Big Bang challenge closes (deadline is March 1st - these few weeks eat my brain as everyone scrambles), but if you need someone to do a macro-level read through I could do that. I know only that Sherlock was a detective and Doctor Who travels in the Tardis. <-- the perfect no-idea-what's-happened-in-canon beta? XD

Sure, if you'd like! I was thinking more about someone familiar with the fandom but not familiar with my world yet, but total newbie could work too. :) I don't know how well this piece is going to work as a stand-alone.

I will not be the least bit offended if you'd rather have someone with half a clue read! XD If you find you still need someone later, though, I'm totally cool with checking things out (knowing of course that I'm not familiar with the characters at all).
