CHECK-IN TIME!
It's Friday, and the end of the month is almost here.
Are you ending on a high note of writing and/or posting? Or are you using this time to relax, read, do research and plot, and such things?
Let's send discussion this week with another quote:
"I enjoy writing for third and fourth graders most of all." ~Beverly Cleary
Who do you most like to write for? Everybody and anybody? Friends? Long-time readers? For gift-exchanges?
:D Share with the class!

Date: Friday, March 30th, 2012 17:32 (UTC)I started out writing for mostly selfish reasons so I guess I'd say I like writing for myself the most :D Only recently when I wrote some gift fics did I start to appreciate writing for somebody in mind. But it has always been my mantra to write stuff that I would enjoy and would want to read.

Date: Friday, March 30th, 2012 20:03 (UTC)I write because I have to write or I'll die -- at least, that's what it feels like! So even if I had no readers I'd still be pumping out the paragraphs. But as it stands, I write for my Faithful Readers, the fans who seem to consistently read my stuff and ask for more. I hope my work has a wide-range appeal but I can really only go by those who leave comments, and identify them as the target audience. I count myself so incredibly fortunate that I have about fifteen people who seem to follow my work and really enjoy it. :)
