How's the writing going?
Discussion: editing. We all have to edit our fic at some point and of course we all have different approaches to it. How do you approach your editing? get it done as soon as your finished? leave it a day or to settle? edit as you write?
I have found these tips to be useful during the editing process, although they're aimed at drabble lenght pieces, I do actually find them to just as useful for editing longer pieces.
As we're at the midway poitn of the month, how are feeling about your progress/goals for the month?

Date: Friday, June 15th, 2012 17:15 (UTC)My progress this month has been good. I successfully completed one of my goals for the month (and wrote 5,000+ words in the bargain!) and I'm making progress towards the other goal, which is to get back into a stalled WIP and try to finish it up. Even though I haven't written anything new yet for it, I'm working through ideas and feeling good about them, so I am confident I'll actually be able to see progress made on this at last!
As for the discussion topic, I edit as I go. Editing is something I do all the time as part of my work, and it's just natural for me to edit as I write. I will go over my work a number of times, and fine tune it as I go, but I also will do a big edit when it's complete, after it sits for a day. I usually benefit from having someone else look at it, too, and they invariably find one or two things that I missed. ;-)
