My Tuesdays are often a bit wild, and today was no exception!  :-D  But here I am, with another check-in post.

No discussion today, just a question -- What was one good thing that happened today that encouraged you (writing or otherwise)?

In spite of my frenetic day, I managed to write 45 words. \o/ That's not much, but it's a very good transition paragraph in the opening part of a new chapter, and I think it's going to be good enough to keep. I need to type it up and see if it works with the ancient writing that's been mouldering on my computer, waiting for inspiration.

I was encouraged that I was able to write a tiny bit! Also, in spite of it being wild today, it was "good" wild; now I'm home and have the rest of the evening to myself, which is very nice.

I get kudoes on my old fics so I'm happy.

I wrote yesterday. I got most of chapter 1 finished and added a lot more to chapter 2 of my goal fic. Quite pleased with the progress so far.

I had a call from Pittodrie about some work there during the season. Hopefully it'll happen because I need a 2nd job.

I didn't get anything done, but that's okay because I blocked a small shawl instead.

Wrote and posted! Which is good (because I haven't been doing either for like a century or something.)

I got into chat with someone about my stalled fic and I was able to get new ideas to work on so got a bit pumped to write again :)

Updating for the 10th and 11th at the same time, here.

I didn't do anything on the 10th.
Today, I exceeded my daily word count goal, so that was awesome. Taking the time to write about 8 sentences about my goals for the emotional arc and action arc of the story was really helpful. I guess continuously taking the time to "center" on a long!fic is super helpful.
