Where do you find yourself sneaking in words when you are supposed to be doing something else ie work, family parties etc? What's the strangest place you've ever found yourself doing that?

Too busy earlier in the day, now too tired to lift my head. ;-) I have a few hours before guests arrive, so I may try to bestir myself and do a little writing, if I don't fall asleep first.

I seem to be able to sneak words in during a video lecture I attend once a week (at work) and also during church! Somehow I am able to pay attention to the sermon and still get stuff written. I always carry a small notepad and pen in my bag so I can sneak off to the bathroom and write if I'm at work or at a function. I remember once being at a restaurant and needing to write down some things that came to me, and had to do it on a napkin because I had no paper with me.

I write 2 fics today, both are of fandoms I haven't written before. Generally I'm satisfied with how they come out.

The strangest place I find writing is standing on the bus, handwriting. The resulted writing isn't good, but I just can't stop writing at that time.

Yesterday's flamingo is me today. No writing two days in a row, and now I'm starting to feel miserable and guilty about it (on top of being exhausted and frustrated from RL). Not a great combo. I did get some betaing done today, but I'm still feeling pretty useless.

I don't think I've ever written anyplace especially odd, but I did have a habit of working on stories and outlines and such in class when I was in school. Now I jot things down sometimes when I'm at work, if there's something I just have to get down Right Now.

I finished a couple of one-shots yesterday and looked through my goal fic for a few hours too. I finally got round the snag I hit with it. My plan for the rest of the day is to add new words to the goal fic and start properly outlining scenes for chapter 3.

The strangest place for I've written in on a bus. I sometimes write when I'm at the beach, I don't have time to write when I'm work or when I'm with the family.

Well today I wrote a few lines in the bath tub. I sometimes do that, when I don't feel like reading and want to soak a bit to relax. I often take a book to write with me. At university I used to have my notebook so my main problem was updating the files so I would have the current version at hand - but sometimes I write things down on paper there was well.

Writing has been sort of good lately. I would have loved to bring more scenes from my head into written form but at least I did get something done.

Sort of finished the second and first drafts of the first chapters of my Avenger fanfic and got passed a difficult point in my "Life" fanfic.
