I wrote a scene for a Yu-Gi-Oh AU ^_^ I'm not working on any specific story this month; my challenge is just to get back into writing in general.

Good for getting that scene down! Every so often, not having anything particular to work on is a good way to start a-typing. :)

I have about 20 or so days to develop the 3 or 4 placeholders I have in my Bandom Big Bang draft before I have to turn in a betaed and final draft. Right now, I'm guessing it'll be about 5-7k extra words. Everything's outlined; it's just a matter of filling in the details.

In addition, I'm aiming to finish at least one line of my hc_bingo card and work on a handful of snippets that I owe people.

My biggest challenge is going to be getting that BBB done as I'm also doing arts and a fanmix for that big bang. Right now, I'm optimistic that the Big Bang to-do list will be completed. In a way, filling prompts for hc_bingo /working on gift!snippets will be like a kind of reward. So, August will be a busy month! :P

Tonight, I edited the final draft for pod_together (adding an extra scene) and wrote about 300 words of the Bandom Big Bang. Not a bad way to start the month.

I'm working on a fic called Alice in holy grail war, which has Alice of the Wonderland face in a dead match. It's supposed to be a quest for self with romance and action. The challenge will be that I don't know if I can handle the quest aspect.

It sounds like you've got a solid idea of how the story would go. Working out the quest aspects might end up being fun :)

I got nothing done yesterday. I spent most of the afternoon and evening at hospital because I fell outside my flat and hurt my wrist again.

This month I'm working on Don't Fade Into The Midnight, my big Rizzoli & Isles. I'm looking forward to getting chapter 3 done because it's quite an awkward chapter. The most challenging will be writing the sex scenes (when I get to them) and keeping the fic at PG-13.
I'm hoping to finish my summer mini challenge too as I only have 2 prompts to fill on my table and also a couple of one-shots if I have the time before I go and see the family.

Ah, sex scenes! They can be such a pain the ass to get down. I too struggle with them (regardless of the fic's overall rating). I have a feeling you'll do a great job. :)

I added 700 words to my het big bang. Not as much as I would have liked but I had to sort out a few wee odds and ends. That fic, and the one for minervafest (which I've barely even thought about yet!) will be what I'm working on this month.

Both are due in this month, the big bang on the 26th and the fest fic on the 1st of September. I'm trying not to think about how much still needs done as I'll just panic and put myself off. It's weird because I'm really enjoying writing the fics, and I'm writing more consistently than I have done for a long while but my brain keeps going 'It's not enough! You're running out of time!' and I'm feeling rather bad about that. (My brain really just needs to STFU)

I'm looking forward to finally having this chapter done. I'm worried that I won't manage it-- I need to write a sex scene that's audible to the point of view character (he's a room away from it). I haven't written a sex scene in years, not since my daughter learned to read.

I'm about to leave on a trip, and there's too much going on with that to even think about writing! I had a challenge fic due at the end of July, and I couldn't get to it, even though I have an awesome idea and outline ready to go. I'll get it done, though -- late doesn't actually matter too much with this one!

I'm looking forward to some quiet writing time during my trip, and I'm hoping to finish that challenge fic, then press on with my WIP goals for the month. I'm excited about all my stories, and I'm looking forward to getting immersed in them once again and get some new chapters written! The challenge will be to seize the time and actually write, not allowing myself to get distracted. I'm hoping to be able to establish some new time management patterns that will help me be more disciplined in my writing.
