I hope everyone made good progress - but as someone pointed out in our discussions, if you did not reach your goal don't give up - just reach your goal another day/week/month :D

Discussion Topic: When do you feel like sharing what you wrote with the www? After you had your beta look at it? Right away? Only if you feel really good about it? If you are stuck?

I am just asking because I believe Saturday is the official share your snippets, ask for beta or feedback or something like that :D So please feel free to do that :D

I got on a bit of a roll yesterday and was up till 5am writing and got back to it this afternoon once I'd managed some sleeps. I got a couple of prompt pieces finished, and they'll be getting posted sometime next week.

Normally I try and post new fics as soon as I've given them the once over.

Okay, first weekly goal reached and passed - just counted the words and I got 1304 .. well technically a few were written past midnight but I still let them count. I need to fill a scene in the middle and now that this is done, I can move on and let that count for the next 1000 words in the second week. *woot*

I don't mind early feedback from potential betas or those I already have - but I will only post finished chapters that I feel comfortable with. (And lately not even that as I have too many WIP posted as it is and I hate disappointing reader's with long waiting times)

I already have an awesome beta reader for my Avenger's fanfic - but if anyone is interested to have me bump a few ideas/snippets off for any of the following stories just give me a shout:

• Pirates of the Caribbean
  AR after first movie, some romance, lots of action, focus on Norrington/OFC, non-con Elizabeth/Barbossa, Jack and Will are involved as well (but not with each other ...)


• Life (tv-show)
  Background story for Roman Nevikov, from the POV of an OFC, lots of sick adult stuff, if you know the character you know why


• Wild Hogs
  The Del Fuegos (a biker gang) are the protagonists in this one, they find themselves in the middle of a zombie apocalypse after rescuing a stranded motorist from the middle of nowhere ...


• Harry Potter
  AR after the sixth book, Voldemort is defeated, Snape still alive and on probation. Circumstances force him to rent a room in a pension where three very strange muggle women live. A bit of romance, lots of humour (mostly culture clash) and a few sinister plot elements ...


• and last but not least ...


• Van Helsing
  I am almost done with the first part of my trilogy set 180 yearsa after the movie, part one is solely about Dracula, in part 2 he will cross paths again with his lover Gabriel ... also might like to finish the background story for Verona.

I have the bad habit of having very little smut in stories, even if it might sound otherwise. It is mostly plot or character reactions/thoughts or even development - just mentioning it because people complained about the lack of sexy times :D Of course, I am always willing to listen to throwing ideas around - talking about ideas is very inspiring for me and just as much fun as writing.

I wrote a bit. Writing an infodump is harder than I expected. With luck, Sunday will be a better day for writing.

I prefer to wait to post my fic until after I've had a beta reader look at it. Of course, that assumes I can find a beta reader at all. I'm really bad at doing revisions with no help. I simply can't see where the story needs help. Still, I wait. I want to post stories that are the best I can produce.
