Just a reminder that signups for the August WIP challenge are open through the end of tomorrow, July 31st! Apologies for the delayed reminder -- it has been a bit of a frantic last few days for me. (I'll note too that we are not strict about late signups, ha ;)

Thank you so much to everyone who's volunteered to do check-in posts in August, too! We could still use someone for 12-18 August, if anyone is interested & available?

& hey, for discussion, let's talk about mistakes. Have you ever written yourself into a corner? Realized you contradicted what you wrote 5000 words ago? How do you deal with that? Do you ever find that a mistake is better than what you planned to do? Does the thought of having to go back & correct a mistake that has wide-ranging impact in your fic make you abandon it?
