WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 1 -- Wednesday

Hello on Wednesday!  A new month starts today!  What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

•     I wrote
•     I did some planning and/or research
•     I edited
•     I've sent my fic off to my beta
•     I posted today!
•     I'm taking a break
•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Discussion:  I always feel particularly optimistic when a new month begins.  It's an opportunity for me to forget the frustrations of the month that just finished and start over with renewed vigor to accomplish my writing goals.  Is it the same for you, or different?  Is there anything in particular you are looking forward to this month in your writing plans?  Is there anything you are worried about that might keep you from writing?
