WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 1 -- Wednesday

Hello on Wednesday!  A new month starts today!  What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

•     I did some planning and/or research
•     I edited
•     I've sent my fic off to my beta
•     I posted today!
•     I'm taking a break
•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Discussion:  I always feel particularly optimistic when a new month begins.  It's an opportunity for me to forget the frustrations of the month that just finished and start over with renewed vigor to accomplish my writing goals.  Is it the same for you, or different?  Is there anything in particular you are looking forward to this month in your writing plans?  Is there anything you are worried about that might keep you from writing?

I edited a previously written (but not posted) chapter, and posted it. Now I have no "saved back" chapters for this particular WIP, so in order to advance the story, I shall have buckle down and write!

I am looking forward to writing/finishing some stories that have been languishing on my to do list -- maybe even finishing a WIP that only needs a chapter or two more, or adding a fresh chapter to my longest running WIP. I am worried, though, because I am in charge of organizing a big event which takes place at the end of the month, and that will pretty much eat up most of my free time this month until it is over. I will have one week in the middle of the month when I am out of town and that could be a good opportunity to push forward with writing.

I'm taking a break. It's been a pretty productive month, so I think it's time to kick back for a bit before I get revved up for July.
