Play Solitaire/Klondike and know that if you lose, it could very well be because all games of that type are not winnable, thus preserving valuable dignity?

(The last question in the poll can maybe be better explained if I link to this messageboard discussion on Freecell vs Solitaire/Klondike and whether either of the two games are always winnable.)

So, today's question is tricky and ties into yesterday's question.

Now that you have identified (perhaps) your favorite method of procrastination——what makes you tear yourself away from that? What's worth giving up the rewards of "oh god, writing so hard, another game of Freecell sounds way better"?

I mean, long term, obviously we all want to write for our own reasons, but in the short term, when there's laundry to be done, dogs or cats or chinchillas or whatever to pet, food to be cooked, naps to be taken, computer games to beat or not beat—— what gives you that kick out of Procrastination Station and into writing?
