Greetings!
linaewen here to serve you this week as we attempt to achieve some writing goals together! Let's start off by talking about how today has gone for you.
Did you write?

For Discussion: Some writers talk about their Muse, from whom they get their inspiration when the Muse is willing to work with them -- other times they complain that their Muse is trying to change the plot on them, or has run away and they can't write until the Muse returns! Do you have a Muse? If so, does your Muse have a specific personality? How does your Muse help (or hinder) you when you are trying to work on a writing project?
Did you write?
- Yes!
- No!

Have a great writing day today! May your Muse be cooperative!

Date: Sunday, October 7th, 2012 15:13 (UTC)I lightheartedly refer to my Muse when I am discussing my writing with fellow writers. My Muse is usually my main character who tells me how the story (or chapter as the case may be) should go and what other characters should be involved in the situation. I've never really felt like my Muse left me high and dry when I needed inspiration -- rather, my Muse bugs me when I should be writing but I'm letting Real Life things get in the way.

Date: Monday, October 8th, 2012 08:49 (UTC)Muse... Muse... eh. Mine doesn't have a specific existence, or if she does she chooses to work through flashes of inspiration when happy with me and characters being stubborn when she's not. My characters run the show, and my characters need to be available in my brain for me to write them... I guess maybe I've a multiple-personality muse, hehe.
