Greetings! I'm snowynight, and I shall be checking in with you all for the next week.

How's the writing/editing/researching/procrastination faring upon this thirteenth challenge day? Have the word gnomes gifted you abundantly? Are the punctuation pixies giving you problems?

Today I'm a whole day away from computer just until now, so no writing, but I do spend the time to make sense of my plot.

It's good to take a break from actual writing once in a while--or so I tell myself... hope you got some good thoughts about the plot in!

I wrote 799 words today! On a fic I've been working on, even. Inching slowly towards the end. Hooray!

(BTW, it's not the sixth day of this challenge anymore, heh--perils of copy-paste! ;)

Just finished the last 800ish words of this draft, a draft that still needs quite a bit of polish, but at least all the words are mostly there. All ~6400 of them. (That is a strange length for me, as I am usually a ficlet or drabble -er, but this thing just would not end.) \o/

Oooh, nice! I am definitely a short fic person (my longest tops out at 4k, I think?), so I am duly impressed. :)

:) Thanks! I'm a short fic person, as well, so I'm still a bit gobsmacked. (But we shall see how many of those words disappear in the editing process. ^^)

I just did some editing and fixed a couple of very tiny mistakes that probably no one else would have cared about. But I'm happy I caught them! Several chapters are now ready for posting.

I also just wrote 433 words towards my next chapter -- some of them are good enough to stay, and others are more placeholders for a thought that needs completing, but I'm happy with both kinds of progress.
