Today's discussion question:

[Tell friends you’ll finish that kink fill over the weekend (fanfic flamingo) Sunday evening: One sentence written.]

How well do you do with self-imposed (or relatively self-imposed) deadlines? Better than with hard deadlines ie for exchanges or what not?

I'm beginning to realize that I do much better when there is a hard deadline imposed from outside -- I can keep to task for the most part when that kind of deadline is in place. Self-imposed ones are too easily bypassed. However, I would like to change that somehow and get better at keeping to a schedule and a deadline that I have dictated myself. That would be helpful for so many things, not just writing! :-D

Took a break and read some fanfic instead.

Sometimes I do good but if anything comes up I am usually not very good with my self-imposed goals.
