Today's discussion question stems from a question that a friend asked me last night, What do you think has been the biggest change in your writing over the years? I was happy to admit that I am no longer the gratuitous abuser of adverbs that I was in my earlier fic-writing days, but now I'm curious about other people's thoughts on this front. Have you gone back and looked at your writing and noticed that you've (thankfully!) moved beyond a particular bad-fic trend?

Managed to get through most of my remaining/unused prompts for prompt_in_a_box yesterday. I'm down to my last 2 prompts and sturggling a wee bit to come up with fandom/pairing for them.

I've slowed down in my writing and it has made it more consistent.

Woot, re-wrote about 2000 words today for my fanfic and some 500 the day before. I am not even frustrated any more about my lack of avenger progress ..

Since I am working on a fanfic WIP from 2003, I can say I improved almost in every area of writing *gg* which is not difficult considering how awful my sentence structure and pacing was back then.
