Oh it is sunday, which for me means all regular shops are closed :( which is bad if you crave something you can not get at the gas station.

At any rate, did you today:

Re-watching Sherlock (yet again) I recall a scene where Molly asks Sherlock in the police cantine what he is having and he says: Nothing - digesting slows me down.
I come to realise that I write much much more when I am slightly hungry or have eaten very little. How about you? Do your eating habits influence your writing?

I'm waiting to hear back from my beta reader. I'm getting antsy about it. There will likely be no writing for me today. I've got a ton of chores to manage-- laundry, three or four different bits of baking, some dishes. I'm slacking off right now, but I ought to start on the baking, at least. The bread machine takes about four hours, and it's almost noon.

I tend to do better with writing when I have munchies on hand. I'm not sure why. Of course, I'm doing without those for the most part these days. I have a nine year old who wants to know why I get snacks and she doesn't. I don't want to set a bad example. I also can't shop for munchies myself because I can't drive and so can't get to the store unassisted. My husband does the grocery shopping. I feel weird asking him to pick up jellybeans or cheetos or what have you.

I wrote (and posted! I'm a powerhouse today) a Christmas Stargate fic (here if you'd like to read) which has really put me in the festive mood :D

I can't write if I'm hungry! I'm terrible haha, I get really irritable if I'm at any extreme i.e. tired or hungry, and I can't concentrate. Kind of like a Sim ;)

I added 1400 words to yuletide and sorted out some more details for it! A successful day!

I don;t write to well if I'm hungry, or thirsty but then I am far too easily distracted at the best of times.

Sunday was a day when I actually did a bit of scribbling. I am working on a Yule Fic which is due by the end of the mont, and had scrapped my idea in favor of a new one because the old idea didn't seem to be going anywhere because I couldn't figure out some foundational things with it. However, the old idea resurfaced and suddenly I could make sense of it, and so I spent Sunday morning figuring out how to proceed with it. So I'm back to using the original idea and currently working on tweaking the plan.

I've never thought about how hunger affects my writing, but I do seem to do better when I have a wee crunchy snack with me and some coffee to wash it down!
