Discussion topic: humour. When it comes to writing humour is it easy for you or is really difficult? Does it depend on what your working with fandom, canon and character wise?

I am always laughing, fooling around and joking in RL but whenever I try to write humour, even just a witty one-liner it always falls flat no matter how funny it is in my head or when I say it out loud to see if it will work for a character it just refuses to happen for me.

I fiddled with my outline a bit, but the effort was so miniscule that I can't count it for anything. We'll see how today goes. I'm feeling pretty relaxed so it's probably about time to start getting some work done!

I don't know that I have attempted humor on purpose, though I'd say I do include it -- sometimes it comes naturally when certain characters are together. It tends to run along the lines of humorous situations rather than jokes and one liners, though.
