What, if anything, do you have planned for this month and how are you feeling about it?

I want to write some Narnia fic. I'm pretty unsure about it because I don't have a deadline (apart from my self-imposed one). I also don't have much direction for any of it. I don't know that I'll get much writing done until my daughter's back in school next week. I might, if I'm lucky, manage something sooner.

After writing all day yesterday, I took today off. I did some reading, however, as I was the recipient of a couple of lovely Yule fics. One of them in particular was just the kind of thing I love to read -- full of description that makes you feel like you are actually in the story. It made me feel like I've gotten away from that kind of description in my own writing and I want to get back to it; it has been something . So that's something I'm going to strive for as I write this month.

I've joined a challenge to write a one-shot thing due at the end of the month for The Hobbit, so I'll be looking for some inspiration for that in the coming days.

Finally wrote something again, almost 1000 words - not a new fanfic but a rewrite for an older fanfic and those words were jus the ones in completely new sentences - I re-wrote a few more sentences with fewer changes as well.


My plans are modest - I just want to write a bit more than during the last few days.

I got chapters 1 & 2 written on my big Taggart fic yesterday, taking me to the halfway point with it but I still have to type them and fill in a couple of blanks. The only plans I have are to post a one-shot sometime this week or next and towards the end of the month start posting the big fic on my comm and ao3.
