WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 22 -- Tuesday

I haven't had a chance yet today to get any writing in, and since it's Tuesday, that will likely remain the case for me. For some reason, Tuesdays are always crazy and nothing ever goes as planned. Since I got started on a fic yesterday, I'm hoping to be able to do more than just think about it once or twice today, but we shall see.

Going well = I love my WIPs and my characters and the one shot prompts I'm working on, and I'm excited about continuing to write about them.
Not going well = I am letting Real Life get the best of me so I'm not putting in the time I want to devote to my writing.

I did some research on the social work and legal elements (children's panel, place of safety) that I needed and I wrote. I still have a few hours so I can try and get some more words down and maybe finish the chapter I've been working on today.

Going well - the overall word count because words are just flying out at the moment and sticking with this fic for as long as I have because I get bored easily when I start chaptered fics and give up. Resurrecting an old (stalled) idea and it working out for me.
Not going well - I'm dreading the impending editing process now because there is too much repetition and some silly dyslexic spelling mistakes that my assistive tech doesn't seem to have picked up on.

One thing that is going well with my writing: I have restarted the story. I'm keeping Snape's residence at the Guild Hall and trashing everything else; substituting instead another idea that's been kicking me in the mid-brain for the last couple weeks.

One thing that is not going well: The new fic has started out being all tell and no show, if you see what I mean. This can (and will) be remedied.

I didn't do any writing. I spent a lot of time thinking about the two sections I need to write. I'm not sure how to approach either of them, but I'll try Wednesday if I don't use all my spoons on my doctor's appointment. (It's so cold out that I expect to be exhausted.)

Writing is actually going very well, especially when sprinting. The only thing not going too well is my head. Soo many headaches ... I blame it on the fact that I got to overheat my flat because otherwise it would invite the mold in (stupid weather and stupid flat) Meee
