WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 25 -- Friday

It's Friday!  That means the weekend is almost upon us!

Looking back at the day today, how did it go?

Looking forward, how are you planning to spend your weekend?

• I'm going to make up for not writing all week by having a writing marathon
• I'm going to keep writing at my current rate and see how it goes
• I have other plans, but I might have time to get some writing in
• I'm going to take a break from writing

What's one writing-related activity you hope to accomplish this weekend?

I don't know if I'll get anything done today, it's looking like That Kind of Day here. In which case, my plans for the weekend will be making up for not writing all week by having a writing marathon!

My writing goal for the weekend is to complete and post a one-shot challenge story that is due before the end of the month. I have another one that is also due this weekend, but I'm having trouble with that one so I'm going to plan on being late with it. One story at a time at this point is better than trying to do too many things at once!

I'm not long home from my job interview, just waiting for the phone call and I'm a bit on edge. I do have the full version of my fic open as well as the chapter I want to get finished this evening, so that's my plan for the now.

For this weekend I'm just going to keep on the same level that I've been on all week and hopefully get the last 2 chapters written then I can have a complete first draft. I do have work tomorrow but 5 hours is easy to make up.

I've been writing. I've almost finished this section, and I have two more to go before I start editing.

I hope to write this weekend, but weekends usually aren't a good time for me to write. I'll have to find some time for myself this weekend. We don't have any real plans, so there ought to be time.

I did so well last night, I seem to be creatively tapped today. Maybe I'll spend the evening on a low-stress one-shot. I do have a goal for the weekend to finish one more chapter for my WIP, and hopefully start another. Or at the very least work out the general outline of what happens between the two snippets I have on hand.

I did think about my fic, and I did some rereading and a wee bit of editing. This weekend I'm going to be pretty busy, but I want to at least write out some mechanicals to provide direction.
