What kind of a writing day has it been today?
- I thought about my fic once or twice

- I did some planning and/or research
- I edited
- I've sent my fic off to my beta
- I posted today!
- I'm taking a break
- I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Date: Sunday, February 24th, 2013 14:35 (UTC)This Flamingo made me laugh because this is totally me! It all started with one idea and now I have several WIPs running at the same time and a plethora of related one shots that all deal with the same 'verse. My WIPs are actually starting to work together now, even those that were originally intended to be separate -- the AU is taking over the canon gap fillers! But to tell you the truth, I don't mind in the least. ;-)

Date: Sunday, February 24th, 2013 15:54 (UTC)My big WIP, Rheotaxis, started out as a writing exercise. I just wanted to see if I could write explicit sex. It grew plot pretty much immediately. I'm now 200,000 words into it and probably 2/3 of the way done. A lot of my one shots are such that I could write multiple sequels, too. I don't because I don't have time. I don't write very fast.

Date: Sunday, February 24th, 2013 18:29 (UTC)I have a bit of time before my connection to Aberdeen so I may use the time I have to do a bit of editing while I'm waiting because I have a copy of Twice Unjust on my tablet.
It has happened a couple of times but I always try to keep a one-shot just that, unless of course I'm testing out a theme or canon theory then I expand upon in it in something bigger.
