Hi everyone, hope you had a good day with the writing and other things. I got some editing done this morning, and this afternoon we went to the International Market on Union Terrace. I also have my prompts for this round of prompt_in_a_box, so far I have half an idea for one of them, the other two are proving more difficult but I have time and there is always the November round if I need it.

I'm stuck in the middle of a scene that I know has to be there but that I think is really boring. I'm trying to think of ways to make it more interesting without losing the central point of it-- The character is isolated and lonely and doesn't have any good choices for addressing those feelings. I'm thinking to have him login to the computer system, but I'm running aground on the fact that this is an alien system. I'm not sure what would be available on it and keep thinking "Oh, something like X, Y and Z." But an alien culture, an advanced alien culture, would do different things with a network than we do.

I have no idea how it is nearly the end of the first week of April. It has been one of those weeks so I have nothing written so far. Meh. This week should be better though.
