Has today been a good writing day for you?
Today I:
- wrote
- planned
- edited
- posted
- researched
- had a day off
- did something else
Today was:
- excellent
- average
- okay
- terrible
- I don't want to talk about it
Today's discussion topic:
I saw a fanfic flamingo the other day about writing under a pseudonym and it got me thinking. Do you always write under your (fandom) name? I'm thinking especially for things like kinkmemes or experimental work where you maybe don't want to claim it for whatever reason. Does it depend on exactly what it is, or if its a wip, or do you not mind posting everything under your name?

Date: Tuesday, April 23rd, 2013 23:33 (UTC)I do all my fic writing under this name. Even when I write anonymous kink meme fills, I claim them and post them under this name. I have a couple of original stories posted under my real name on my real name website. I posted them before I started posting fic, or I might have put them on my The RCK website.

Date: Wednesday, April 24th, 2013 04:20 (UTC)I also post everything under my name. I get that if your work is very different in style, theme and/or severity it might be wise to separate them for those who subscribe to you ... I rather put labels on them and if someone who came for my horror mixed in with non-con does not want to read my sweet, fluffy songfic (yes, I felt like I needed to commit that crime) they can go by the description and warning labels ;)
