My internet is down right now, possibly until some time Saturday (or even Monday, if I'm really unlucky). I'll try to get to the library tomorrow to post the check in, but I can't promise.
Today's discussion question-- Does shutting off the internet help you to write or do you do better when you have access?
Shutting off the internet tends to make me-- figuratively speaking-- run in circles and gibber. That means I get very little writing done while I'm offline. Of course, when I have access, I use it as a distraction. It's hard to balance.

Date: Thursday, June 13th, 2013 21:28 (UTC)I use a USB mobile internet and don't always buy data so I find that I can get work and other things done with and without internet. When I need to do extensive research that isn't in my source material and reference books, I either use the USB or take my laptop to the library and use the free wifi for a couple of hours.
