I still don't have internet at home, so I may not be able to post tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed that the guy from AT&T comes early and fixes the problem quickly.
Today's discussion question-- Do you have a process for going from prompt to story? (Assuming you write from prompts at all.)
I tend, after getting the prompt, to review canon with the prompt in my mind. Usually, that gives me a starting point. Then I start writing and see what happens. Most of the time, it works.

Date: Saturday, June 15th, 2013 12:47 (UTC)I like writing from prompts. I like your idea of reviewing canon and finding a spot to put the prompt; I usually just start writing, and you probably know how that turns out :).
I have some bad comfort habits that I'm trying to break.
I did write a couple of pages on the two EQ stories I'm trying to finish. Started the one Thurs, so I'm happy with my progress. I have a L&O mothership Ben Stone years fanfic that I'm about to post on otherwise that needs outlined and finished. If I don't finish them this weekend, they will be my BIAW stories for the week on Yahoo's Romance Writer's BIAW list.
