Discussion: reading fic. When you're looking for a fic to read, is there anything that you don't like?

I personally don't like songfic because I find it to be quite lazy and I also avoid anything that has incest, even when it's implied and not actual, something about that particular theme really creeps me out.

I haven't really been reading much fic recently. Most of what I have been reading is gen. When I was reading fic a lot, I avoided mpreg and wingfic. I always avoid transplant AUs. They tend not to be what I want to read about.

Recovering from a busy week yesterday, so even though I thought about fic, I didn't make any attempts to go beyond thinking!

I avoid AU stories that place the characters in high school, and also don't ever look at songfic.
