Date: Sunday, July 21st, 2013 21:21 (UTC)The way I get myself going again is to read a couple of chapters that lead up to where I am stopped, then review everything I've written or researched up to that point. If that's not enough, I try to visualize the setting and the action, running it through in my mind. Eventually, I have to sit down and force myself to struggle through a couple of sentences to get started; once I get through that, the writing usually begins to flow again.
