How is today going for you?
Discussion: deadlines. When you're working on a fic that isn't for a challenge do you ever set deadlines for yourself?
I do sometimes set myself a deadline when I'm not writing for a challenge, I usually put a specific word count to reach or I'll pick a date to have a very rough draft done by. I don't always reach my own deadlines and I am notoriously slow at finishing things.

Date: Monday, August 12th, 2013 14:39 (UTC)Challenges really help me getting things accomplished, but it doesn't work as well to set my own deadlines. Somehow I know it's "artificial" and I still procrastinate. ;-) Setting a word count as a deadline might work better for me than a date, because then I might be more likely to work on writing.
