WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 25 -- Sunday

Greetings this new week! linaewen here to help encourage you and provide you with a setting to talk about your writing as we finish up this month's WIP challenge.

What kind of a writing day has it been today?

For Discussion:  Today is the first day of the final week of our August challenge.  Are you encouraged are discouraged about your progress this month?  What was one thing that came out of your writing this month that excited you or that made you feel happy with what you are working on?

I posted a chapter of my WIP. I've still got next to nothing on my exchange fic (which was my goal fic for the month). I'm calming myself by reminding myself that I've got a significant chunk of September for writing if I don't finish this month. I just have to get myself rolling and crank out the words.

Still, I posted. Woohoo!

I was away this weekend but tonight I have managed to look over my notes and very rough draft of chapter 3 the flashback and the epilogue for my kids big bang fic, I also found a way around an awakard scene in the same flashback chapter. I also did a little research that involved watching a science experiment called Screaming Jelly Baby on YouTube. I'm going to be getting a decent start made when I get back home early next week now that a nearly complete outline to work with.

I'm fairly encouraged this month, I've posted a few short pieces and I still have one or two pieces to post for a small challenge, then that'll be completed. I'm happy with my new oc for my big bang and also having a way of dealing with the circumstances surrounding the oc.
