[personal profile] linaewen posting in [community profile] writethisfanfic
It's Wednesday, which means the week is half over already!  What kind of a writing day has it been for you today?
  • I thought about my fic once or twice
  • I wrote
  • I did some planning and/or research
  • I edited
  • I've sent my fic off to my beta
  • I posted today!
  • I'm taking a break
  • I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment
For Discussion:  Have you ever killed off a major character in one of your stories?  If so, was it planned from the beginning?  Something unplanned but that you realized would be a good idea at some point?  How did your readers deal with that character's death?  Was it obvious to them that it was coming or was it unexpected?

I have written the past three days! - and a test

Sorry, also needing to see how my phone handles posting to dreamwidth. I think it may have lost my last post.

I've been editing the final prompt fic for my Summer Mini Challenge table and I'm aiming to have that posted tomorrow. At the moment I'm going over the new scenes for my kids big bang that I typed on my BlackBerry yesterday, having an app that works with docx files is an absolute godsend. The only thing I can't do for a couple of days at least is read through my handwritten rewatch notes because I left my overlay at my mum's and I struggle to read without it but she's posted it to me so I'll be able to go over those pages.

I get upset when characters are killed off in canon so I have never killed anyone off but it could happen and I did consider doing that to Robbie when I was working on Twice Unjust because of something John Michie said in an interview but I changed my mind because it wouldn't have worked in that fic at all.

I ended up getting a whole bunch of writing done pretty late in the day, and I'm really proud of my output.
