Discussion: embarrassing fics. Have you ever looked over your old fics and felt embarrassed about something you wrote?

I found one of mine from around 2002 or 2003 and I was actually embarrassed that I'd written a song fic, thankfully it's the only time I've ever written anything in that style. I was quite surprised that a lot of my early fics aren't as terrible as I thought they would be, and also by how many survived the transition from forums to LJ and now to DW.

Also I'll be around in the chatroom for a couple of hours, until around 10PM (UK time).

I'm actually usually happily surprised that it isn't as bad as I imagined. ost could use work, but they aren't totally un-redeemable.
