Discussion: Your goals this month. As it is the beginning of a new month, I thought I’d ask what will you be working on. Do you think you'll reach your target? Do you think real life will prove to be too hectic?

I will mainly be working on the gen version of my Star Trek: Voyager kidficstory big bang fic and am aiming to have at least a rough draft finished, hopefully I can get it either first read or beta read too but I’ll wait and see what happens with it before I start asking around. I may sign up for prompt_in_a_box again this month, at the moment I'm undecided about it. I would like to reach my main target and it is doable because real life isn't too hectic.

Since I'm still working on it, I'm going to finish my journeystory fic, which will be a fic where Michael and his team are scrambling to get Fiona, his nephew Charlie and him out of Miami.

Then I'll need to move on to spook_me, which will be a fic involving a Doctor and some tentacles, and then femslashex, I think.

I'm confident that by the end of the month at least journeystory and spook_me will be done.

This month I want to write 100 words each day on my crossover fic. Work's going to be busy still, but at the very least I can write on my phone during my commute. In addition to that, I want to finish the translation of my last fic before Yuletide assignments go out. It has been sitting at 99% done for months now; I just need a big kick in the ass for this one.

Today I managed 350 words, and now I feel a bit more comfortable with my voice and all. Beginnings can be so awkward!
