I just got home from a week long vacation. I took all my writing stuff with me, but I did not do one single bit of writing the whole time I was on vacation. Even so, I feel really rested and I think that's going to make a difference in being able to write from now on. I will probably spend the rest of the weekend reviewing where I am at in my stories and do some research and outlining of ideas for a couple of short challenges I signed up for.

I finally posted an original work that I've been whipping into shape for ages. This puts me at 3 trope_bingo works posted, although there's still a lot of work if I'm gonna make a bingo.

I also wrote a little over 700 words on the next square in my line. I'm really enjoying delving into minor or obscure fandoms for this challenge. All in all it's been a pretty good week.

I didn't post anything new this week but I have finished the rough draft of a tricky chapter on my kidficstory big bang and can now move on to the other chapters that I've been ignoring to get that written, although I am dreading writing the scene with the 'Screaming Jelly Baby' science experiment. I've also been revising one of my prompt fills for last month's round of prompt_in_a_box because I wasn't happy with what I posted and I feel like I rushed into it.

My email for this month's round of prompt_in_a_box came through earlier and I'm thinking about writing each prompt as a 3 part story but I need to rewatch one ep of Killer Instinct before I can start anything.

I'm quite happy with my progress so far. Work's still very busy, but I managed to write each day and made good use of what little time I had. I'm still very excited about my fic, which is worth a lot. I'm now getting into the fun part where my characters from one canon meet the main characters of the other canon, which I'm looking forward to write.
