I've been writing, editing and posting frantically to try and fill a bingo card. I had to be disciplined about releasing a fic "into the wild" even if it might not be perfect, which is dreadfully hard but ultimately healthy. And I did a canon review for one of my fandoms, which helped me complete a draft.

Some holidays make me want to write because they have interesting implications that are useful for allegory, but I find that the story ideas are usually too complex for me to execute in a non-agonizing way. This happened to me earlier this year on Yom Kippur.

I hope to finish a fest fic tonight, but I haven't written a word on it yet today. xD

Despite all the awesome holidays in a year and the writing/art fests that are inspired by them, the only holiday I always want to write for is Halloween. I really love Halloween and horror, but I don't write enough of it! (And my motivation to wanna write horror tends to arise near Friday the 13th and Halloween, lol.)
