Discussion: Before you sit down to write is there anything that you must have near you or do you just start.

Before I start writing I always make sure I have my overlay, a notebook and pen, the Oxford dictionary and thesaurus and my thermal fingerless gloves.

I need music to write with before I sit at my laptop. That's all I need.

The final scenes of my crossover are dragging. That's a new experience for me, since usually I find the beginning and end easiest to write while the middle part is giving me problems, whereas with this story, the middle part practically wrote itself and now I'm tearing my hair over the ending.

As for the question, no, I just need my laptop or phone and I'm all set.
