Do you have a particular point of view that you like to use or do you like to switch things up? For that matter, is there a particular point of view character you're fond of using?

I mostly use third person limited, but I've ventured into other types of writing, mainly first person. I think I may have written third person omniscient once. Third person limited just feels most natural.

I use third person for nearly all of my fic and I have used first person a couple of times but I struggled with it. One of the squares on my genprompt_bingo is first person narration and I'm quite apprehensive about writing the eventual fill for that.

I stayed home today because we had a stage four storm warning where I live and I've got quite a bit of writing and editing done, I also posted a short public blog post about AO3 and am almost ready to post a couple of new fics.

I usually write in third person limited, but I mix in different points of view -- whenever I switch point of view I make sure there is a break so it's known whose POV it is. I have written in first person a time or two; it's tricky but its very effective for certain kinds of situations.

Funny you should mention that. I just started a story in first person and I'm not sure I can pull it off.
