How is today going for you?
Discussion: Guests. When you have people staying with you, do you still write? Do you leave it until your guests have left? Does it depend on the plans you've made?
I tend not to write when I have guests, usually my mum and step-dad, because we're out and often travel everyday that they're staying and I have no energy by the time I eventually get home after taking them back to the hotel at the end of each day. I nearly always wait until my guests have left to resume my writing. Our plans are always made several months ahead of the visit because they like to do something everyday and are travelling a long distance just to spend time with me.

Date: Tuesday, December 10th, 2013 23:55 (UTC)I am currently in guest mode -- my guest is staying for two weeks, and while she's a lovely person to have staying, I suspect I will not get any writing done. I don't want to say it will be impossible, however, because there are times when our guest is out, and if I seize the time, I might be able to get something accomplished. Still, it's more difficult to write because of the change in routine a guest brings.
