I've managed all of three sentences this week, and none of it goes anywhere yet. Maybe next week.

The first draft of this story is technically complete, but I've been putting off the editing because I want to look at it with fresh eyes.

Aya dropped heavily to sit on the steps, disregarding the throne that stood behind them. They were carpeted with some impossibly soft fabric, like the fur of a spoiled lady's cat. After three days of fighting with almost no sleep, she would have thought she could hold up for another hour or two. Not so; her limbs were so heavy she doubted she could lift an arm, let alone her axe, and her head drooped.

I've been doing more editing on my kidficstory big bang and I still need a beta for it (official challenge requirement).

I know that very few people know Taggart, the fandom I'm writing, and that's fine because I mainly need someone who can point out any SPaG mistakes and plot inconsistencies that may have escaped my own attentions. It is PG rated with minor references to gambling addiction and is set in a post-series, post-canon universe, there are two original characters as well. At the moment the fic is around 9000 words and finished.

I've asked around for a beta in a few places that I know of and so far my searches have been unsuccessful :(
