Hello on Tuesday!
How is the day going for you today? Is it a day filled with writing? Research? Brainstorming? Editing? Thinking? Procrastinating? Taking a break? Whatever you manage to accomplish today, I hope it is encouraging!
For Discussion: Is there a day of the week that is particularly bad for writing for you? Any days that are especially conducive to writing?
No fresh words have been added to any of my fic as yet, but I'm doing some research and thinking as I try to get back into a story that fell by the wayside.
My worst day for writing is Tuesday. It's the day that seems to be the most unpredictable as far as what goes on at work, so it usually ends up being the longest day and the most tiring. I really get very little done on Tuesdays. Good days tend to be Saturdays, especially if I don't have to go anywhere. Weekdays in the morning are often fruitful (except for Tuesday!) but more hit and miss than Saturday.

Date: Tuesday, January 28th, 2014 20:27 (UTC)Saturday evenings can be good for writing, but only if Saturday afternoon malaise doesn't set in. Sundays are difficult -- first day of the work week, where I live -- and Fridays are the worst. Because of real life things, they tend to be half-days that mystically shorten into something like... quarter-days.
