WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 1 -- Saturday

It's Saturday -- and it's also the first day of a new writing month!  How is it going for you today as you start working towards your February goals -- or finish up those writing projects you were working on in January?

Today is also our day for general chatting/snippet-posting/beta-seeking activities. Do you have a snippet you'd like to share? Do you have a question that needs answering? Do you need help with something that's giving you trouble?  Do you need a place to vent and complain? Leave a comment & we'll see what we can do to help you! 

For me, today is for venting -- I am upset because I am away from home for several days and have accidentally left my flash drive with all my writing behind! The computer I travel with has no writing files on it, they are all on the flash drive.  I am very annoyed about this! It's not the end of the world, really, because I can probably make some progress in spite of not having my files, once I reproduce what I can from memory and from a few things that I saved in the cloud. Even so, I'm still feeling flummoxed and irritated about it.  :-)

I did finish up kidficstory last month. I've put casestory on hold until Porn Battle is over. Working on another piece from that, but it took a while to come up with the idea, so not much writing happened yesterday, alas.

I finished my kidficstory big bang and that was my main goal (I think!) and I also wrote some prompt fills for my genprompt_bingo and cottoncandy_bingo cards. I still have to post those fills though.

My brain is fried at the moment so I'm not working on my main goals for the month as such but there has been a little outlining started for more bingo fills along with a note of the episodes I need to rewatch for those.
